I'm a public high school teacher who's interested in using the Tribe concept in the classroom. I've talked to the folks at Tribe, and they're somewhat interested in building a kid-friendly/teacher-friendly site. As of now, it's limited to persons 17 or older.
The challenge: how can we create a safe site that both students, parents, teachers, and administrators can access?
Think about the potentials: comments on books, homework help, discussion questions, inter-school dialogue, journaling, etc. The teacher as well could control the membership! Let's get Tribe to recognize the possibilities!
